Refuses to Fix Known Hardware Problem in DV6100 Series

Call HP at any sign of computer failure. I'm less than 3 months past an extended warranty period and HP is refusing to fix my computer.

Now maybe that's understandable if everything is right from the start with the computer, but in fact, HP acknowledges that many of the computers in the DV6xxx group (as well:
dv20xx v30xx
dv21xx v31xx
dv22xx v32xx
dv23xx v33xx
dv24xx v34xx
dv60xx v60xx
dv61xx v61xx
dv62xx v62xx
dv63xx v63xx
dv64xx v64xx
dv90xx
dv92xx
dv93xx
dv94xx)
have a flaw from the very beginning. They overheat and burn-up the motherboard.

I don't think it's very honorable to start with something that is dysfunctional from the very beginning and than say that it's too late to fix it. It's never too late to fix something that should have been good to go from the start.

The real kicker is that I started experiencing problems more than 3 months before the warranty was up, but just let it go because I thought it was a minor issue.

Now they expect me to take the hit. They have certainly lost my business for life for these types of shenanigans.

I hope this encourages everyone to avoid HP unless you want a computer that is sort of cheap and somewhat unreliable.
