I placed an order with this company on the 11th of the month. Order wasn't even processed until the 20th, credit card was charged a few days later and I noticed it was $10.00 more than the price I was quoted when I submitted the order. Apparently if this company runs out of an item that a customer orders, it sees fit to charge the customer an extra $10.00 for an "out of stock" item. However, the customer receives no notice of the out of stock item via email or telephone communications, it's just a surprise when the bill arrives.
Also, the "out of stock" item I was forced to pay $10.00 more for never arrived. It has been two months since I placed my initial order, and the company just emailed me a day or so ago saying "Sorry! Your item is out of stock! Would you like this item instead?" And they include a very tiny picture of some other item that they presumably carry.
I tried to call their customer service line and I was greeted by a very bored-sounding female representative who took my name and zip code and then told me "our internet is down right now, I will give you a call later". It's been about a week and I have yet to receive that call yet.
