Horrible customer service-no status on 2 orders charged

I placed 2 orders from buy.com on 09/06 (order no.'s - 34998071; 34998135) and was charged the same day. Until today (09/13) i have not received any update from buy.com and when i contacted customer agent, they told me that they cannot help me since it was a 3rd party order to whom the order was forwarded by buy.com.
I placed the order on buy.com website and got charged from buy.com-but i received no information from buy.com.

Then i contacted the 3rd party-'calumet photographic, inc'to whom buy.com forwarded by order, who informed that my order has been canceled since buy.com accepted more orders from customers on there website than the item available in stock (ipod nano).

When i contacted buy.com. Again, i was told (very rudely) don't call buy.com, call the 3rd party. The 3rd party states, call buy.com, since buy.com charged me and order was placed on buy.com.

So after 1 week-i have no information from buy.com on my item, or on money charged and on top a rude customer service. And now the price of the item has also increased by 100% from the previous amount i was charged.

Please advise what measures the customer can take?
