Peter Jobst is a horribly overpriced consultant. We took him on on a project and he simply called tech support and had others do his work. His background is falsified, many of his "clients" don't exist, and the ones that due required level one tech support.
The network he helped setup for us was trash, it failed constantly. He wanted the easy mode but if he couldn't get answers from tech support or the internet he failed to do anything! The issues we had we ended up working with the vendor to fix, were easily done, and should have required almost no time to fix.in fact we spent more money on his "consulting" then we did on our entire IT setup. His constant calls of vendor issues and factory problems should have been our first warning, then the bill came, that should have been our second.
He failed to be able to work in different enviroments, his coding was non-existent, his network admin skills were far from adequete, and he lied about his qualifications. He claimed to know unix, windows and mac, but couldn't fix a simple issue with SSH and our unix firewall!
Futhermore he has a bad reputation in the IT industry for using other people to do his job, overcharging his clients for his skillset, and having a beyond basic handle on IT and network support.
He may get better in the future, but as of now he is a D grade consultant for his price, and needs to be honest with his customers about his personal abilities.
