Walmart. Connect internet service offers a free 30 day trial period. You use a CD to install the service and give them your credit card number - which is a mistake!
We used this service for 28 days. Followed the instructions on the provided CD to remove the service. Walmart. Connect claims we have never removed the service. We have been billed for 3 months.
My husband and I have both tried to discuss with Walmart.com representatives. The phone wait is lengthy. Then you speak to numerous employees.
My husband has requested speaking to a supervisor which he didn't get to do. We have been told we are disconnected from the service, but they will do nothing about the incurred charges.
Walmart. Connect is a vendor for AOL - beware! Do not sign up for free service, do not give them your credit card information.
