This company caps bandwidth and halts speeds as slow as dial up. They send technicians out by the dozen to try to diagnose the problem. But I already know what the problem is. As soon as we try to watch something online that requires a video it dies or halts. I was watch 48 hours online and then all of a sudden it goes out. The service is only up for 1 week out of the month. One day I just got really mad and told them straight out. Uncap my bandwidth you guys are the ones halting my service you don't need no technician. You've already rewired my line all the way up to the main box. The problem is you in general. Your doing this on purpose. About 10 minutes later my speeds went back up to normal. Nobody came out. These people try to control your bandwith usage and keep you down or from using a service that we pay for monthly. The FCC needs to take some more action as we are paying for this service and yet they want to control usage.
We are going to a company here in South Florida called 360 degrees, you have to pay for installation but it's better than what these people are doing. And the connection is clean, no heavy traffic.
I would recommend anyone who is going through an abrumpt halting or intense slowing down of service to get out of comcast and seek another alternative. They are going to take you for a ride and pretend they do not know what the problem is. But they do?
