To put it in the most simplest terms, we hired this company to set up an entertainment blog site for us. They charged us 250 bucks to set it up on a free site (wordpress). Eight weeks later what we got was a free template. We were immediately not happy with the site and complained profusely and when the changes were not made compiled with excuse after excuse we told them to shut it down and we asked for our money back.
We filed a complaint with their local BBB and they danced around the issue when asked for their side. After numerous back and fourth's with them they finally reported to the BBB that they never received payment from us and asked that we prove that we did. Mind you, when they were first asked to respond to this claim we filed, they never said that. They explained what the dealings were with us and what they had charged us. Not ever did they say that we didn't pay them! Plus they told us they would not start the work until we did. I have here sitting right next to me the USPS delivery conformation receipt and the money order itself proving otherwise.
We have just received info that one of their reps, Gary Germano, contacted the President of our company, Duane Fields, and literally asked him to pay their debt to us and they would make him a free website. Yes, let me repeat. This so called company asked the President of our company to pay himself back and they would make the President, not our company, a free website. How could this be when they stated to the BBB that we never paid them in the first place?
They are an upstart company that is broke and they can't afford to pay us back which is cool. Acknowledge it. Don't make it seem like we are in the wrong. We are the customer. We asked and paid for a service that took way to long to produced and when the final product was presented to us it wasn't what we were looking for and not what they promised to deliver.
All we want is our $250.00 back. No more no less!
