I first noticed two unauthorized transactions of $1.00 by UMG BUYE and UMG MYAD debited from my checking account in March. I noticed that in May two more unauthorized debits of $19.95 by the same company for the same amounts were automatically debited from my account. Over the next eight months $19.95 was deducted from my account, once in the begining of the month and once at the end of the month. It wasn't until the charges started showing up on the same day for the same amounts that I started to question them. I did not recall setting up any automatic deductions with any companies within that time frame which caused me concern. I contacted my bank to start a fraud investigation and had my debit/credit card canceled. I also contacted UMG BUYE and UMG MYAD to find out what the company was. They told me that they were a company that gives discounts on airfare and other things. I told them they had no right charging my credit card for something I did not sign up for, the woman I was speaking to didn't have much to say. When I told her I wanted my money back she told me she was going to credit my account $79.00. This company stole $361.10 from me and they wanted to give me back $79.00. I imediately asked to speak to a supervisor. After being on hold for ten minutes I was informed that $361.10 would be credited to my account within the next 3-5 business days.
