Plugs into computer, supposed to give phone service—service not dependable— in and out—never know if phone is working or not

MagicJack is a device that plugs into your computer and is supposed to give you access to both local and long distance phone service. It is not dependable—service is fairly good for a short time and then service disappears. You have no idea your phone is not working until people see you and tell you they have tried to reach you and can't.

The company gives tech aid in the form of live chats on the internet. You never get the same agent twice and each time you ask for help you have to repeat your whole story. They string you along until past your thirty day window to try the device and when you finally give up, they refuse to refund your money.

It is a scam! Don't fall for it. I have personally lost $42.55 (cost of device)
