I ordered a cable from the pccana.com website and selected the 7-10 business day shipping option. After I didn't receive the part on the 12th business day I called and spoke with an operator that barely spoke English, he said I should wait two more business days and then call back. I did as instructed and on the 15th business day (I gave them one more day for the benefit of the doubt) I tried to call back.
This time, after multiple attempts within the business hours specified on their website, all I got was a generic voice mail recording that sounded like what you hear when you call a cell phone that has not been set up. I never was able to speak to a live person again.
I had paid for the part via PayPal so I opened a dispute against them on PayPal's website.in less than an hour I received a response from them; "we've suggested customer to wait until September 10th and we will try to tacking down this." Considering that it was October 10th when I received this response I could only assume they meant November 10th, almost two months after the order was placed!
I responded to this with outrage to which they replied that the shipment normally take 2-3 weeks, contradicting their own website and said it could take up to 30 days! Then they demanded that I close the dispute since it had been less than 30 days since I ordered the part. PayPal does not allow you to reopen a dispute once closed so if I had done this I would have no way to continue the dispute.
Eventually, after about a month I did receive the part and closed the dispute, but I wanted to warn everyone I could to not do business with this company.
