I bought a replacement AC adater for my laptop. I paid for the adapter and the postage, with a full 30 day replacement. It failed the same day I received it. I paid to return it for a replacement. I received the replacement, it worked for 2 weeks, then failed. I called CS asking for a rush replacement, can't be done until they receive my defective one back UNLESS they have a charge on my credit card until they receive their defective material back.
I don't appreciate that, so I say no, I've tried 2, both failed. I'll return for credit and buy elsewhere. I have to pay to return the second defective adapter. They do issue credit to my account but I have paid almost 10.00 to return defective their material. They say that is their policy. They refund material cost, not the return postage. They would not issue credit until they receivd the material back.
Ten bucks is not a big deal, however it is a cheesie way to operate a business. If I were returning because I wanted to then it is on me, if because their products a defective, then it should be on them.
JacobsParts is a cheesie, misleading supplier that takes advantage of their customers. I called, talked with CS. Never a "I'm sorry for your trouble" only "our policy states...".
Don't waste your time and money with Jacobsparts, do business with someone else.
