Microsoft Best Buy Wireless Base Station consumer fraud rebate ripoff Internet New Jersey

I purchased a Microsoft Broadband Wireless Base Station at Best Buy. The rebate coupon says that I have to submit:

"This rebate form"
"Copy of receipt"
"Original UPC cut from the box"

Today I got a letter from Microsoft's New Jersey office saying they can't process the rebate without proof of ownership: "Proof of ownership for this rebate promotion is the original product box top, with the product name and barcode clearly identified from the product. No photocopy of the box top will be accepted."

Time for a class action lawsuit!
