I ordered a computer system from Shop NBC. The offer sounded great, only $99.00 to get it home w/5 payments of $390.00 on my credit card after that.
The computer company sent me the printer, & the monitor without the PC. It took me almost 3 mos. Of constantly calling, being put on hold for hrs, before they finally sent the PC. We had the PC in our home exactly 6 wks. To the day when it just stopped working... Nothing!!!
I called the ph. # given for tech. Support. Again, on hold etc. Finally got someone they told me to do several things with the PC to get it up & running again, none of which worked. They then gave me another ph.# to call for more expert support. I called that # & have as yet to get anyone to speak with.
I then called customer service. They said this was a tech. Support problem & there was nothing they could or would do for me. I told them I only had this PC for 6 wks. & at this stage I wanted a new PC, especially since I wasn`t able to get anyone at tech support to help me.
Customer service refused my request for a replacement PC. I have already paid 3 of the payments on it.
I tried to get in touch with Shop NBC to see what could be done. Again, I was put on hold etc. Told someone would get back to me, no one did. I even E-mailed them without any response.
I then called my Credit Card Co. To stop any future payments until this is resolved. Shop NBC is now sending my acct. To collections.
I am out over $1300.00 at this point with a PC that doesn`t even come on at all!!!
If there is anyone out there that can advise me as to what to do next, & how to stop the collections & ruining of my credit, I would greatly appreciate the help.
