Ripped off and scammed, refused to replace parts still under warranty

I was trying to look up information on my v2premier computer when I came across this website. I could not believe how many people out there that were scammed like I was. I share your pain and frustration. Here is my story (if you're interested).

I purchased my v2premier computer in June via ShopNBC. I received it in about a week. The pc came with the Lexmark All-In-One printer. The printer worked for only one day. I called ShopNBC and they told me to call v2premier. I called v2premier and after being on hold for over an hour and a half, I hung up. I tried this three seperate times, three seperate days, before I was able to speak with a service tech. They told me that they would send me a new printer and a mailing label to send them the defective one back. I received the replacemenet printer 5 days after I first received the computer (this is now a total of approx. 2 weeks).

I had the new printer one day and v2premier sent me a nasty letter saying that they had not received the defective printer and if they did not receive it in three days they were going to bill my credit card (the one I used to order the computer with). Why this company would have my credit card information is totally beyond me.

Anyway, I sent the defective printer back and had no more nasty letters or a charge on my credit card.
My computer was about a month and a half old when it decided to crash. Again, I tried several times to contact a v2premier service tech. After four days, I was able to speak with a tech. He instructed me to reboot my comuter and do a system restore. I followed his instructions and everything was a little slower but other than that it was okay. A few days later, I was doing a routine "clean-up" of my pc (scandisk and defrag). After the scandisk completed I noticed that my hard drive had bad clusters on it (approx. 17,000). I called v2premier tech support again.

Believe it or not, I was able to get through on the first try (first try=on hold for 45 minutes). They informed me that the computer hard drive was indeed under warranty, however, there were not enough bad clusters to qualify me for a new hard drive. Me, being the easy going person I am, believed this lie. I just thought it was another case of rushing out, buying something without really looking into it, and being ripped off.

About two weeks after my warranty ran out (of course) my hard drive crashes AGAIN! This time it's to the point where I could not do a system restore. I didn't even bother calling tech support this time. I went out and purchased a new hard drive and installed it myself.
V2Premier, Viscom, and ShopNBC: I would like to thank you. Because of you, I will never again shop via the internet.
