I called earthlink to check on DSL service. They started taking my information and when I told them that I did not have a home phone, they said I would have to get one through another provider. I dont want a home phone, or the bill associated with it, so I said no thanks. The rep then said I would have to cancel the service. She transfered me to a rep that could not find any information where I had ever contacted them. They, and their flunky collection service "Bill Me Later" have been calling my cell phone several times a day six days a week ever since. I dont have a home phone, or an account with them. Nor do I have DSL internet on my cell phone. Any lawyer that wants a class action suit can contact me. I dont want any money, you can keep anything you win. I just want to be left alone.
