Hello. I became a member of Simple Escapes on Sep 24. At that time, the offer was a free $25 gift card for signing up. CLEARLY stated on there website where they try to get new members. The gift card was given for joining up after they charge $1 to my credit card for the trial membership Even if I cancelled the membership, the card was mine to keep, AS PER there WEBSITE!
Well, guess what. I cancelled the membership within the 30 days and they never sent me the $25 gift card. Talk about a scam. First they sucker people into paying $139.95 for there membership and then charge them every year on their credit card, which they probably forgot about.
Then, they lure people to sign up with this false promise of a $25 card. THEN, they dont even honor the claim of the free card for the few people who are smart enough to cancel their memberships within the proper time frame. They should have been happy just getting the suckers who pay and dont cancel, but they also want to rip off those who arent that dumb. That is there mistake. They're company is so transparent, it is ridiculous. Well, they cheated the wrong person.
They will not get away with this scam about lying about free gift cards. I have a copy of the $1 CHARGE they put on my credit card. It is a complete audit trail. That will validate my statements within this letter, which could easily lead to a class action lawsuit for fraud against that company. Then refunds for everybody could result, which I am hoping.
You should put them out of business for FRAUD! Thank you for working on this.
I want my $25 card, and I want you to investigate them and put them out of business for fraud!
