Fasthost.com provides web hosting to any client that requires them. Their websites states that it has 24/7 live chat support, 6 IM names to give more live support and they have a support ticket system. This was all fine for a few months and then simply died a death after.
The chat support never worked, they ceased to seen online on yahoo or MSN messengers and their support ticket was either replied to after 24 hours to whenever they're ready.
The problem I have suffered and still suffering was that I raised a support ticket to register starfleetuk.com, sxcomms.org and spccreations.net without being informed that the domain names would be registered by them as the registrant.
This means that when you do a WHOIS of the domain name; it doesn't come up as my name as the registrant but come up as theirs. This is where they are in breach of ICANN rules and since they never offered WHOIS privacy; I don't have control of the domain names at all.
After raising another support ticket to request them to change the registrants details. To date, they haven't changed the information.
Now this is where their customer service is simply non-existent; I went to do some pruning of sub-domain account holders where I'm a reseller and simply wanted to get rid of dead accounts.
The next day, fasthost.com blocked a number of sites including the dead ones that I suspended. They then redirected those sites to some Russian wives site; after raising another support ticket.
The response was; 'this site is under a spam investigation'. So even my reseller account was blocked and wasn't given a time frame at all. To date, the sites are still redirected and I have no access.
After further investigation of their contact details, 1.9202733154 goes to an answer machine that they never use. Their email address is never replied to and they give a false address where it belongs to ThePlanet.com.
