I bought a package to trace IP's because I was having trouble with an ex breaking in my computer. So I bought Visualware PL v2 Advanced Addition 1 User for the special price off of their website of a total of $26.90 When the Lisence Keys were emailed to me they didn't work. I emailed support and David Palmer told me to cut and paste to Key (this key is 32 symbols long) and I did. I did that 20 more times too. After a whole day back and forth he left me with the situation unresolved.
Finally the software would not work without the key. So I emailed support again only to get his wife Juliann. Juliann forwarded my emails to David Palmer her husband and she did the exact same bad customer service he did. They asked me to send them the error message I was receiving when I put the key in. I told them the error I was receive was, "Invalid Syntax". After that I don't hear anything from them. NOTHING! Zero! Zip! And, I need this software. Come to find out these people are in England!
So I went to http://download. Visualware.com and try to just buy a new package (for $80.00 more now) and they wouldn't take my credit card that has no balance on it. Then they wouldn't take my ATM Visa and I have money in the bank. So these guys either (a) made a mistake on the price and now they don't want to honor the contract or (b) they got nasty about the whole thing and blocked me.
I asked for refund and they said no. Now I am forced to file a dispute through my bank and that can be an ongoing and annoying process too.
If you buy anything over the Internet and are looking for a company that will give you customer support FORGET IT. Don't walk away from them... Run. They act like you are a theif or stupid or both.
