I purchased their cell phone unlocking software, that the website claimed would work with my phone. I never got the chance to find out, because the website neglected to tell me the software would not work on Windows Vista, which is what my laptop is running.
Within an hour, I emailed David to tell him the program was not working. He replied back that I needed XP or Windows 2000 in order to operate the program. I told him I didn't have those versions and only have Vista. I told him I wanted a refund. He just asked, "who is the carrier that sold you the phone?"
Surprise, surprise, I never heard from David again. I filed a claim with PayPal only to find out that if you purchase something electronically and it's not goods received through the mail, there is nothing PayPal can do. Nice. My next stop is to dispute the claim with my bank.
Please people, be careful when purchasing something electronically, because you may encounter another stupid David Phone Fun Shop who knows you'll never get your money back from him. Thank goodness it was only $25.
BTW, I found software to unlock my Treo for only $15 and it worked like a charm!
Even if you have XP, BEWARE, please choose a different software other than unlockmyphonenow.com
