My daughter's ipod video screen died. She found ikaput with a google search, sent off her ipod as instructed by them, they called back and asked for $90.00, said it would be a week and it's now been six.
Her ipod has dissappeared into the ikaput black hole.
I contacted them by email without identifiing as a current customer. I got an immediate response. It went like this:
"Yes sorry, our phone has been ringing non stop. So I aplogize. What questions do you have?"
Note that "they" did not specify if they had been answering the phone or not, just that it had been ringing.
I sent the details in an email right away, this time it took 24 hrs for a reply:
"I apologize it should ship by Friday."
I wrote back and said among other things that "Should" ship Friday was not good enough after a month.
That was the last I heard from them! Do not do business with ikaput!
