I received new service from verizon on 03/31. My service I ordered was dsl online with a wireless modem and a phone line. My phone line had a short and my line always has static on it and you can't talk and you can't call anyone. Then my dsl isn't working because of several reasons, 1 buing they sent me a broken installation disc they cut up and almost in half when they shipped or received it. With a broken installation disk for dsl you have a NO DSL SERVICE for that REASON. They won't send me a new instaallation disk and I keep calling them to fix my service and they come when I am not home and try to fix service. Then when I call them they REFUSE to cancel and when I keep opening a repair ticket they keep closing it. I don't want them to fix anything I just want them out of my life now. My service has been horrible and the customer service they have none and tech support they have none either. I asked verizon tech support what an isp address is or any of the codes to hook my dsl up, they tech support could not speak much english much less fix my service because if you dont know english would you know what a DSL is? Or an isp address for my service (no you would not). So due to all these reasons I have phone service and dsl service that I am paying for and does not even work. And calling these people they refuse to cancel me only open a repair ticket and lie and say it is fixed. This is in Florida. Anyone else have no customer service or tech support/service from Verizon unless you call state attorneys office? I know forsure they have been playing around with my service because when I did call tech support they acted like they knew nothing and no one was there to help with my issues then after we hang up my service comes on for 5 minutes then goes off. And this happened 3 different times. I know it is not my serivce issues and it is Verizon playing games because they can't service all we demand and now I am paying for the service aI can't get and the repair I need and can't get. So far for this service and billing fro 03/31/08 to 04/10/08. For DSL I owe verizon $49.00. That does not include my phone sbill from verizon. And my dsl and phone service isn't working yet either. And they dont want to fix it nor cancel me. I am mad as hell verizon. I am sure this is happening to other people. Not just me. If it happens to you too? Speak up so WE can be helped and not just heard. I want verizon to itemize my bill for services I did not receive and I want to send them back the box of Service Equipment they sent to me with the broken installation disk that customer serivce said they would send to me in 3 days and I have not gotten yet. And I also stated I needed this service ASAP for my work at home job. Of course its all about Verizon and no one else of Course!
