Petairdelivery Agency
Erika Richford - Mada Insurance Pet Scamming Belfast AKA [email protected]

I found some British Bulldog Puppies on the Freeads website they were being sold for 200 or reasonable offer. I emailed the person concerned to enquire if they were still available and they were.

They originally lived in Sheffield on their advert, so I said that my husband and myself could drive up at the weekend to view and buy a puppy. All seemed fine then the person emailed and said that they had gone to Belfast overnight due to going to America in the near future for a pet convention.

With this being said they then emailed me and said that they could ship the puppy to me, and I asked for a cost to do this I was told it would cost 100, which I thought was quite exceptable.

The so called person with the puppies told me that they were putting in to place the arrangements to have the puppy shipped to me, so I thought everything was going ok.

It got to the morning of the delivery day and I got an email from the Comapany Petair delivery to say that they needed my payment to be paid by moneygram paid to somebody in Cameroon. I done this and was told all was ok and the puppy would be sent over by plane within the hour.

A short time elapsed and I got a telephone call to say there was a problem with the puppies insurance certificate it has expired and was told I needed to pay an additional 350. I did try to get the money but luckily I couldnt so I contacted them and told them and they agreed to accept 125 for it, which I paid.

I telephoned them when I had paid it and they told me the puppy was leaving straight away. I didnt think anything was wrong as I didnt hear anything from them it wasnt until 7.30 in the evening when my puppy hadnt arrived that I telephoned Petair Delivery.

I was told that there was a problem at Newcastle with paperwork being checked and that there was a delay of approx 11/2 to 2 hours, again I thought ok.

It got to 9.10pm in the evening and we got an email saying there was another problem we had to make up the money on the insurance and also the puppy needed a pet carrier card to be paid for. All this amounted to a total of 250 more that they wanted that evening or the next day.

With that we heard alarm bells ringing that something wasnt right and we telephoned the number on the email, only to find they were still carrying on with the scam.

We told them there and then we were not going to pay anymore money to them and all we wanted was our money of 225 back that we had already paid out. We were told not very politley that we had no chance of seeing our money again.

We then had a telephone call from the womans supposed boyfriend who sounded so much like the man at the Petairdelivery agency, to be told that it was best if we called it a day with the puppy as we didnt really care about it and it was making his girlfriend quite ill.

We have informed the police and freeads of what happened to us, and are still waiting for a reply.

Also be aware I think they have ways of getting into your computer by hacking into it, we had something come up on ours that looked something quite like the matrix.

Please be alert these people are nasty scammers using animals to get to the hearts of people.
