I am writing this report to let people know about a scam regarding pups. I seen this advert on the internet regarding puppies which were free to good home, so i replied to it. I then received an email from a woman asking me to come collect the puppy, however i told her i didn't stay near Bristol so that could be bit of a problem for me. She then said that, that was ok she would arrange for pup to be delivered to my address, so i said ok.
The next day i received an email saying that it would cost 70.00 for pup to be delivered so i agreed.
I paid the 70.00 through moneygram and was told when i did that i was to phone the pet delivery agency and give them the reference number which i did. I was told the pup would be with me within 2 hours.
The 2 hours went by and nothing so i emailed the delivery company and i was told the insurance papers for pup had just ran out and that i would have to pay 400.00.
I emailed the lady who had the puppy and told her what had happened she said that she could pay half of the 400.00 and i would have to pay the rest. I told her i couldnt get that kind of money but would try. She emailed me asking if i managed to get money but i told her i could only get 100.00. She said that was ok just to go pay it which i did.
Then i was told i had to pay 90.00 for papers which werent signed and i did that today but still no pup. Then i got email from her husband saying that she is ill with everything that is happening and i have to fix it.
