Items worth $2,000 missing from shipment with no refund, replacement, or apology offered Culver City

In my month-long dealings with Bidz.com, I had nothing but problems. The most frustrating was that six items were missing out of two separate jewelry orders. Did they offer a refund? No. Did they send replacement items? No. Did they even offer an apology? No. After I disputed the $2,000 worth of missing merchandise with my Visa card, Bidz.com "rewarded" me by cancelling my auction account.

Thank heavens that federal law requires credit card companies to protect their customers in situations like this, otherwise my money would have been gone forever. Other difficulties: defective merchandise, knock-off merchandise being sold as "designer, " bait and switch techniques, shill bidding, double-charging credit cards, and the poorest customer service I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with.

The Better Business Bureau has given this company an "F, " the lowest rating possible. All you have to do is do some quick research into Bidz.com's ratings and reviews on the Internet, and you'll find a host of unhappy and dissatisfied customers. I'm sorry I ever gave this company my money, and I'm amazed that they can continue to do business with the number of complaints they receive. Let the buyer beware, because you will eventually get ripped off, one way or the other, by these charlatans.
