If you're reading this, then you no doubt have also been taken in by this most deceptive of companies! And if you happen to be an "ex-employee" (read current corporate spokesperson) of the company, I challenge you to defend this most egregious of trespasses!
I was having trouble with my laptop and had no system restore disk, I therefore purchased a copy of Windows Vista so that I may reinstall the operating system. At the time of purchase, I made sure to inquire of the Afro-American gentleman who processed the purchase whether I could return the item, even if opened, and he assured me I could.
When I tried to install the software, my problem was still not resolved, so I embarked to return the item. This is where the story takes a drastic turn for the ugly. The Afro-American gentleman wasn't there, so I took the item to customer service which was being manned by an unattractive woman who was clearly a lesbian! When I informed her (term used loosely) of my wish to return the item, she claimed she couldn't take it back because it would be against the law!
She seemed to possess no form of sympathy, and her only solution was my giving her the name of the Afro-American in order so the she may "educate" him! I expressed my anger by means of profanity and stormed out of that den of thieves, liars, and prostitutes!
I challenge an "ex-employee" of this hive of calumny to defend the practice of LYING to the customer in order to trap them in an unsatisfactory purchase!
