Purchased Xerox Brand Solid Ink from Imagewarehouse through eBay advertisement. Purchase was made on the premise that the picture of "official Xerox Brand OEM Ink" shown in the advertisement was the item for sale. Several days later I received an inferrior substitute ink in generic packaging from the seller. (Most consumers would not recognize that the product was a substitute and not the advertised product — I happen to have extensive experience with the substitute ink, which is not only inferrior in quality but also attributed to cause long term failure of this expensive printer, so I was able to immediately recognize the "off-brand" substitute "fake").
This seller has numerous advertising on eBay, displaying packaging representing Xerox Brand OEM ink, and not the cheaper/inferrior ink that he sends out. This is a deceptive trade practice.
After difficult communication, the seller suggested I return the ink. I did so immediately. The seller has not responded to any of several communications requesting the status of the refund. After several weeks, I have not received a refund.
