Broadbandoffers.com is the most frustrating, stubborn company in the world to deal with. I bought a modem for around $90 and there are 2 rebates that bring the price of the modem down to about $10. There is a $39.95 rebate and a $40 rebate. Once I got my modem in the mail, I cut out the UPC and made a copy of the shipping invoice and mailed it out. I did EVERYTHING I was supposed to in order to get the rebate only to get an email over a month later telling me that I am missing the required receipt (the one that I sent).

After doing some research and finally finding a contact number, I called the company and found out that they won't lift one finger to help you with anything. I even talked to a supervisor that said she couldn't help me. The problem was that, since I sent the original shipping invoice to them, like I was supposed to, there was no way they could give me another copy. How dumb is it that they obviously have your shipping invoice on file and when they ask you for it and you don't have it because you sent it to them already, they will not give you any refund whatsoever. So now I am stuck with a $90 modem that should cost $10.

When I asked if I could just return it and get a refund they told me that since it was over 30 days there would be a $25 restocking fee (they took over 30 days to respond to my rebate), and since I had cut out the UPC code like they asked, I would be charged another $35 for that if I had returned it. They are the biggest bunch of morons/ripoff artists that ever existed. Don't ever do business with anyone that uses broadbandoffers.
