Warning: do not use PayPal. I know what you are saying and thinking: "I use PayPal and have never had any trouble." Well, me too, until lately. I used a credit card for several purchases on eBay, and PayPal put them through on a bank debit card at my bank, when I never had one. Eight checks went through with a $20.00 fee on each one. I did not have enough funds in my bank account to cover them all, and that is why I used a credit card to pay. The bank called me about all these charges.
I called PayPal about this and was told it was the bank's fault. I argued the issue: no, it was PayPal's fault for sending it through to the bank as a bank debit card when I did not have one and never have had one. I always pay with a credit card and have always done so on PayPal. PayPal says, "I'm sorry, but you didn't pay by credit card." I asked, well, what do you call it when it asks for your credit card number, you put it in and click on continue, and you have a receipt from PayPal stating it was paid? We went on and on to no avail. There were always excuses as to why it was not their fault.
What this boils down to is that I had to pay over $200.00 in fees for someone's stupidity, which depleted my bank account, as this is all I had in my account. This was the reason for using a credit card in the first place. I recently read about all the other rip off reports on PayPal. Read them for yourself. I will say this again: do not use PayPal. eBay has us over a "barrel," as the old saying goes, because as far as I know PayPal is the only merchant account they accept. eBay owns PayPal, of course. No matter what you say or do, PayPal is right and you are wrong.
