Seagate drives are not built to take the heat. Once they start ticking. They quit. A warranty won't do you any good. If your hard drive is inaccessible.
They are made in a foreign country with inferior parts.
So Boycott Seagate. Maybe they will bring their manufacturing back to America.in the mean time Seagate. Suffer the consequences of lost profits.
I was so fortunate. That I backed up before it quit. I restored my data on another hard drive.
Always backup. Run a fan next to your computer.
