About the 15th of November, I noticed on my MasterCard statement that WAL*MART CONNECT 1204 was billing me twice a month. I immediately called WAL*MART and asked why they were billing me $9.94—twice a month. They told me there was something going wrong and would give me some credit—which they did in the amount of $29.82. I also asked them to discontinue my membership with them—IMMEDIATELY. I thought my business with them was all over. I did not try to use their service anymore.
However, when I looked at my recent MasterCard statement, I see that they billed me $9.94 on 12/13. I called WAL*MART CONNECT today, (Dec 29) gave them my name, address and MasterCard card number and they had the nerve to tell me that my name was not in their system! Three times they told me to hold on and they would transfer me to their Billing Department. Each time I was disconnected. I have given up for now.
