Unauthorized credit card charges ripoff

I was reviewing my credit card statement last night and saw a charge for $4.95 on May 27. When I looked today there was a charge of $49.95 on June 11. I called my credit card company and blocked the account and they are sending me dispute forms. The representative said there was another pending charge of $49.95 also on June 11 and I was to contact the credit card company again in a few days to see if it has gone through.

I contacted Pacific Webworks when they opened and was placed on hold for 7 minutes before speaking to Sandra in the billing department. She said I signed up for their eauction service. I told her I did not sign up for any such service. When I told her I did become a seller on Ebay close to that time (May 31), my card was in no way associated with Ebay for them to get my card number. She said I had to enter all the information including my credit card number in order for them to process.

I most certainly did not do this and have not used this card in several weeks. I told her the account was closed and I wanted all accounts with them closed. She gave me a confirmation number. I will file the dispute forms with my credit card company. This is a Mypoints Credit card through Washington Mutual. I saw someone else mention Mypoints and hope there is not a relation between the two.
