I received a credit card statement last fall with charges I didn't make, called the company Pacific Webworks, told them they weren't mine and would like them credited back, I was told to contact my credit card company, I did, filled out a fraud form, it came back they found no fraudulent activity. These charges amounted to over $300.
Just last month I received a statement from a different credit card and lo and behold what appeared Pacific Webworks again. Called was told I already had a pending fraudulent charge and there was nothing they could do. Again called my credit card company filled out another fraud report and haven't heard from them yet. These charges totalled $100.
I have since closed both accounts and waiting to see if more changes appear on other credit cards. I hope someone comes up with something we can do to stop these people. I asked them where and who the stuff was sent to, they wouldn't give me that information.
