I have an account with 1and1.com were i hold several domains and a hosting account. I decided to drop some domains but appearently not responding to a renewal notice isnt enough to indicate that i dont want the domains.
Fine fair enough right? I was supposed to physically cansell them but when i explain i am sorry i was unaware but i would like to speak to a manager to resolve the issue and the little dip s* cant do anything but repeatedly tell me what the manager is going to say that will pi* you off.
I told little david i was going to come here if his refusal to let me speak to a manager contiunued and that 1and1.com is going to lose my business and the best he could do was keep telling me what a manager would say and offered an email adress to the complaints department.
The problem with sending emails at this point in the game is there is only a few days to completely handle this issue before 1and1.com sends the account to collections mainly in part to thier 7 day notices.
2 weeks notice would be asking way to much.
Im sick of this company, they outsource all customer serivce to india and these guys can berely speak english, thier billing department closes at 5pm eastern time making it mostly unreachable to the rest of the world who works and they refuse to allow you to speak with managers upon request.
This is a classic expample of companies who wish to pass the buck of service on to thier cusotmers and on top of that they use thier sheer size and amazing sounding offers to thug thier clients and impose harsh piolicies on you the customer who they really dont care about..
They run thier billing like a porn site.
Here it is.
You buy domains one year at a time with them and when the renewal comes around if you dont cansell within 45 days then you are stuck paying for the rest of the year becaus supposedly they re-purchace the domains automaticaly even if you have not payed them.
They boast having the best customer service but cant let you speak to a manager and run thier billing like an unreachable porn site. I have been on hold for thirty miunutes trying to call and hung up on twice, its 9:30 am, made sure to get up early expecting thewse child like games from this company..
The fact is they want to re-sell you somthing that does not exist for thier own financial gsin regardless of your previous history with them.
Everytime i have called i have had nothing but problems and thats the fact so im done at this point. David told me he did not care if i came here to make a report so here i am david.
I think ill send that email now while a wait on hold to get a manager. I will get a manager david and im going to tell him all about you first.
