We were told that we would receive checks within 5 business days

We called again. Shawn (female) checked and saw that we had called several times and transferred us to her manager, Tavares. Tavares informed us that $30 rebate was actually $50. He said that the $70 rebate was going to Red Cross. We informed him that this was incorrect. He stated that someone probably changed it. He also discovered that the address was incorrect. They had 77 Ingram St. Barb got him to correct that. Tavaras said that both checks would go out on 12/01. We asked him to overnight them, he stated that he couldn't do that but it would go out priority mail. And to call him back by Wednesday 12/06 if the checks were not received.

What was discussed:
Mark tried to figure out what Tavares said from the last phone call. My wife gave me the whole story on paper so that I had my facts including the dates that she had called, I read this off to Mark, who didn't seem to be listening.
Mark came back on the phone and informed me that he is talking to Tavarez right now and discovered that the checks were not sent on 12/01. I asked to be transferred to Tavarez so that I could speak to him directly. Tavares informed me that the checks would go out tomorrow. I told him that we were told that last week and this answer is no longer acceptable and I want my money now. I also gave them the option of sending it via PayPal. Tavares put me through to his supervisor

Nicky is Tavares's supervisor. We had a bad connection and she put me on hold. It is now 5:05 P.M. And I have repeated rebate numbers 5 different times.

I gave Nicky the whole story again. She stated that the check would go out priority mail tomorrow (12/07) I stated that I have heard that story before and this was unacceptable. I asked for the payment to be processed via pay pal to *@*.com Nicky stated that she would do this right away. I stated that they did not want to hear back from me if payment was not pending via PayPal today.
Call ended.

Checked PayPal Account at 11:00 A.M. And there was no payment pending.
Called at 11:05 A.M.

Operator informed me that check was (supposedly) mailed out yesterday and not processed through PayPal.

I asked to be transferred to Nicki, when she got on the phone, I asked if she was having a good day, she said "yes" I said "remember I told you that you didn't want to hear from me today? Your day is about to get worse!" Then I informed her that I would be putting this on as many websites as possible, and I would take them down after we received it's money.

I'm a web designer and posted this on many city websites that I do, so that many people were informed...

It was strange though, I got the check on 12/11. Funny how that works!

Needless to say, I won't do business with TigerDirect or OnRebate EVER AGAIN, and I would highly recommend that other people don't either. As of right now, as I write this, I'm on the phone (on hold of course) with Tiger Direct to let them know that since their affiliate was screwing around with us, we would not be doing business with them EVER AGAIN either.
