I ordered some caviar from above company. The stated shipping was $29.95. I received a phone call from an older sounding male with a very thick russian/armenian accent within hours of placing the order. He informed me that shipping would be at least $10.00 more. Which at first I thought was a nice gesture, to inform me before placing the order but now I don't know what his motives were. When he informed me of the price increase I decided to cancel the order. I told him this and he acknowledged the cancellation.
On my order form it had a section to fill out asking where I had heard about 911caviar.com. While he still had me on the phone he questioned me about where I had heard of his site. He said he had never heard of the site I wrote down and that he was #1 on Yahoo and told me that was enough drinking for me. Which was totally bizarre and offensive. I had not been drinking and I have no idea what he was talking about.
After that I got off the phone as quickly as possible, after making sure that my order was indeed cancelled and my card was not going to be charged. Imagine my surprise when I checked my account the next morning and he had CHARGED ME $115.15 FOR THE CANCELLED ORDER!
I emailed him right away questioning why he had charged me. I asked him to please fax a short note to my card company to take the charge off.
He called me and started YELLING AT ME. He said I would get a paypal refund. I said I didn't use paypal to pay for the order, that I wanted my credit card credited. He said he was too busy, it was only $115.15 and that he was putting my name on a list to never be able to order from him again. VERY BIZARRE!
And now I have to wait about a week to file a dispute because of the holidays.
Oh yeah, this is 2 days before Christmas... What a creep!
