I am trying to do a background check on a potential nanny, so I searched for voompeople.com scams and didn't see any hits. I paid $26 and ran the potential nanny through and get information that I already got from the WEB! I used to be a police officer and I had already gotten her to admit to two minor offenses that should have been returned with this report.
I made sure I picked Georgia, yet GCIC was not checked. When I got my email reciept of the charge it came back to Peoplefinders.com, which I was avoiding because I read this http://usacomplaints.com/reports/ripoff173649.htm
After I found that I had been had, I looked at their terms and conditions. There was no legal mumbo-jumbo about integration with NCIC or GCIC.
I paid for GCIC results and did *NOT* get them.
Avoid this company at all costs. Scam.
