I made a purchase on BestBuy.com. They advertised a promotion for "free shipping on any ink and paper individually priced 29.99 and up and all HP ink." I purchased two Epson - Durabrite Ink and Photo Paper Value Pack (T060520-VP) priced at 38.99 each. There was another promotion advertised "Select 2 Epson DURABrite Ink and Photo Paper Value Packs below and save $15 instantly. Click the Add Items to Cart button at the bottom of the page" I did just that and was charged full price for the first item and received 25% off the second item. (another promotion). I went through with the order thinking that the adjustment would occured when they sent the confirmation to me. It was not.
I contacted Best Buy and was told that I had to purchase ink and paper products totaling more than 29.99 combined. The prices for the ink and/or paper need not be 29.99 and up. If I had done so I would have received free shipping. That was not how I interpretted their promotion. When I questioned the 2nd promotion, I was told that I had to buy Ink and Paper together and I bought a value pack and that wasn't included in this promotion. Both promotions were listed right next to the product I purchased. I will not receive credit for the shipping. The latter promotion is being handed over to their credit department for a determination and I will receive an answer in two days. I could not cancel the order as it was being processed. I just want other consumers to beware and not make the same mistake I did. Thank you.
