EagerHost ripoff bad hosting scam hosting poor hosting cheap hosting Houston

Eagerhost.com Eagerhosting also known as the worst hosting you may ever receive in your life. Apart from some of the worst down times, frequent need of reboots and mysql failure, let me tell you my story.

Months and months went by that none of the fantastico options worked in the cpanel interface of the hosting accounts. There was nothing that could be done through whm either. Eagerhost constantly drug their feet to make it the worst ordeal known to man. During this time (from Nov until May 20th) I submitted 50 (approx 64) support tickets. I finally gave up and decided to move all of my domains to another server. Of course eagerhost refused to let me have the appropriate access to whm to complete my moves. They said they were experiencing problems. This continued for 2 weeks. I finally had to manually download the majority of the websites and then upload them all to my new hosting company. What remain was 5 domains, all of which possessed multiple mysql db's. Much harder and even more time consuming to move. I decided for the time being because of the complexity to leave them there. Ironically enough 1 week later none of the websites work. I try to login to whm and the ip is different.

Like an arrogant ninja in the night eagerhost hosting took it upon themself to perform a server move. Not only was it a poor server move, there was an error in their dns and nothing resolved for 4 days. ANd guess what? When the domains resolved I was looking at websites that were displaying data from 60 days ago. I immediately begin trying to contact eagerhost because my whm info no longer works. It has been 9 days and I still dont have a reply or my new user and password. Not only did the butcher the move using 2month old data, not all of the accounts were even transfered. An account that was there for the last 2 years no longer existed at all.

During all of this I lost 12 customers that cost me monthly revenue of approximately $1079.88, and I had an additional 7 customers who I am now performing refunds for. The refunds have a gross sales refund of $2099.93. Those customers will also be a loss in monthly revenue.

Recap of how Eagerhost is a scam and has poor hosting support:

1. Poor tech support turnout

2. Bad tech support a.K.A.incompetent tech support

3. Poor software - The fantastico/cpanel was never the current version offered everywhere else.

4. Performance - Server speeds were congested from poor drive partioning and heavy loads

5. Poor Customer Service. No explanation or apology for doing a server move without even notifying me. Not providing a user and passs for the new server after more than a week of daily contact requesting it.

6. Failure to comply with their warranty. They guarantee 30 min response time on tech support tickets. Yet I cant get my login info after more than a week.

7. Eagerhost -Failure to comply with their warranty:

Our network is constantly monitored by our in-house staff 24/7 and is setup to provide the most reliable service possible. While we strive for 100% uptime, any company knows that this is not possible. Should service ever be interrupted, be assured that our staff is available to monitor the problem and resolve the issue. Our network uptime continues to be well above 99% and continues to grow."

(The accounts and website on it havent worked in several days, and this has happened numerous times)

8. Eagerhost -Failure to comply with their warranty:
"8. Subscriber acknowledges that the service provided is of such a nature that service can be interrupted for many reasons other than the negligence of the company and that damages resulting from any interruption of service are difficult to ascertain. Therefore, subscriber agrees that the company shall not be liable for any damages arising from such causes.in no event shall the company be liable for any special or consequential damages, loss or injury."

(It is negligence when 9 days later I still dont know what happened to my account, I dont have access to my account, I am being billed for this account, and there has been partial data that wasnt moved.
