Ripoff, sent item 3 months after I'd originally ordered and after cancelling order 3 separate times (2 by mail, one by phone)

I requested the Dual Drill in early December as a Christmas gift.in early January, when I still had not received the item, I called the 1-800 number and requested information about my order.

I was told that there was no record of my order and that I would not be charged. I vehemently stated that I did not want the item. Sometime later, I received a postcard from Dual Drill asking if I still wanted the item. I CLEARLY indicated that I did not and promptly sent that postcard back.

I received yet another postcard and CLEARLY indicated that I did not want the item THREE months after I'd ordered it. On March 8, I received the Dual Drill and was charged $29.95 for rush shipping.

Immediately, I called Dual Drill and wanted to know why this item was sent to me even though I'd requested THREE times that I did NOT want this item any longer. I was told that my requests must have crossed in the mail.

When I explained that I had also spoken to a representative in January, she stated that Dual Drill would send out a return label and a copy of the invoice (which were not available with the order).

What I received was two separate letters - one a copy of the invoice and the other a letter telling me where to ship the item and that I have to pay even more in shipping as it needs to be sent insured mail or by UPS.

She fraudulently misrepresented Dual Drill as I received no return label as I'd requested. She could have easily given me the return information over the phone rather than have me wait yet another week to experience the epitome of 'bait and switch' mentality found with some retailers.

I know that there sole desire is to make the return process as inhibitive as possible so that I will keep this item. I'm not and I have filed a complaint with my credit card company, BBB, and, of course, usacomplaints.com!
