I bought a hitachi hard drive that had 2 $40.00 rebates. Everything was followed and I received an e-mail stating that the rebate checks were comming in two weeks. That e-mail was received 11/22. To date (2/24) I still haven't seen the rebates. I don't plan an shopping at BestBuy anymore. If the rebates are a sham then the warranties are probably the same.
