I went online to verify availability at my local store,
purchased a notebook computer online, and picked it up that day. After deciding the notebook wouldn't work for my needs, I attempted to return the notebook, and was informed that returning within14 days would require a 15% restocking fee.
When I bought the computer online, and when I picked it up from the local store, I was NOT informed of this 15% restocking fee. One of the store managers suggested that a "popup" window should have informed me of this while ordering online, but I use popup blockers and have no recollection of being made aware of this at the time of purchase. He also suggested that "all stores have this" but I haven't bought computer in several years and I have no knowledge of custom in the industry. Further, I was not informed by store personnel of the
restocking fee at the time I picked up the computer.
