I have been trying to get a free PSP for my son through www.freepsps.com (now psps. Freepay.com) since last summer. To get a free psp, you must complete an offer from their website, and refer 5 other people to do the same. Around October I completed all of the requirements for the offer and asked to be approved.
One of the referrals against my account was from my twin brother. He lives in another state and his middle initial is different from mine. During the approval process, his referral was rejected with the statement that the same account can not be used for the initial offer and one of the referrals. I sent them a note explaining that this was a mistake on their part and that it truly is a separate account. They will not respond to my notes. I have been unable to contact them in any way.
I believe the company is somewhat legitimate because I referred them to several people I work with, and two of them have received free ipods. I would like to get a hold of a customer support person that might be able to straighten this out. It has been frustrating trying to get this resolved since the middle of October.
