Six months waiting for my rebate and now the offer to send instead of my $60 check a item that retails all over the internet for just 29.99 on blackmail on top of the ripoff.
I had enough with the mail in rebates ripoff. They play with the customer's greed... The truth is that most of the times the items are closeout, refurbished or grossly overpriced... I can find a way better deal shopping around the internet without the risk of this crooks keeping my money.
Live and learn...
Never a rebate again...
MAXTOR and Maddog and Compusa almost always honor their rebates though.
