Bought computer from CC and purchased 4 yr City Advantage warranty. Computer is only 1 yr 3 months old and has burn out (maybe power surge).. So far in the past month 2 different techs have replaced power supply and mother board along with CPU. They cannot get the computer to run and everytime the put new parts in the computer starts to smoke and burn out motherboard and the new parts they put in. Basically the techs have said computer is a fire hazard and should be replaced. I contacted City Advantage to find out what they plan on doing and they basically said they dont give a damn. I told them the techs said computer is a fire hazard and the City Advantage Supervisor Caesar said who cares if the computer catches on fire you have home owners insurance. I thought that was very nice of him. He said that if they did give me a refurbished unit they are junk anyways. So i told him that then per the City Advantage contract i have the right to refuse this refurbished unit and opt for per contract the total purchase price andtax from the date of purchase which was $925.00 and Caesr told me no way that would never happen. This is stated in the City Advantage contract that CC is liable for total purchase price at time of purchase.
I have called 100 times CC and City Advantage and it is the same runaround. Waiting for corporate to call will update when i get new info.
