My daughter used my card to sign up for a free trial to yahoo music unlimited. I was not aware of this until the money was taken out of my account on the 20th of Dec. When it showed up at my bank with a phone number that was the 22nd of Dec.
I called to let someone know that I had not authorized them to take out this amount, and received an email saying they could not refund this amount because I had not cancelled it in time. Had I know this was done, I would have cancelled it and I also would have had the phone number.
I never received an email telling me about any subscription because had I gotten one, I would have printed it off and spoken with my 15 year old about doing this.
I am thinking about contacting the District Attorney's office to see what can be done. I am not happy about the way Yahoo has conducted this business and I can assure you that if I find a different way, I will stop using Yahoo altogether.
