Refused to serviceme, or send me a monthly bill, ripoff

When I first signed upi with Earthlink the sales rep was very nice and helpful. At that time I specifically told him that I want an actual bill to come to me in the mail to my PO Box. He said that would be fine, except for the first month. He did not mention any fees would be involved for this.

I have yet to get a bill in the mail.

I called the customer service line to get this changed and resolved. I reached an Indian that could barely understand english. I asked for the supervisor and reached Tonya. She told me that I could have this changed but then Earthlink would charge me a $2.00 fee for this every month.

What? No Way. I asked that this fee not be charged and she said that there was nothing she could do about it. She started to become very rude. I repeated that I want a bill in my mail box without any additional fees. (Whoever heard of a fee to get your bill in the mail, anyway?)

She just would not budge on this, but did state that she could waive my fee for a couple of months. Well, if she can do this for a couple of months then it can be done forever. SHe said that she would not do this. I then asked for her supervisor and she refused to put me in contact with them. I asked for her last name and she refused to give it to me.

As I see, Earthlink is just trying to scam an extra $2.00 off me every month to send a bill that they should do anyway. Tonya was rude and and hid her indentity. (What reputable company would hide their identity?). She refused to give me her supervisor.

I told her that I was going to report this to the proper authorities and she said go ahead giving the impression that that would not solve anything or calling my bluff.

This is just a scam. No real company ever charges you to send you a bill for their services? What backwards thinking.
