In an internet chat exchange, Earthlink told me that their "PC Fine Tune" software was free, and asked if I wanted it, so I said yes. Then a month later, I got charged for it. They neglected to tell me that it was "free" for the first month only then I called them, and they refused to give me a refund. I never ever downloaded the software, and I have mac anyway. Also, I am a computer scientist, and I doubt that the "PC Fine Tune" does anything real "tuning" over each month as for what they are charging for it. I hope somebody can look into the software itself too.
