Dear sirs, i have a complaint that is now ongoing between the credit card company and two online servers. The first was with juno, which i had a annual account with and it expired on aug 31. After the expiration date, they went and charged me full rate for 14.95 per month. I did not get any notice of this until i get a copy of my credit card bill many days later. When i then called to cancel or negotiate for more services i found out that i was to late and was being charged another online charge of 14.95 and the only thing i could do was to call my cc company and dispute the claim. Which i did to no avail. I did not get a refund.
Then my son says "hey, aol has a 2 month free offer to get online and since the months of december and january are most used for online services in our family i said ok as long as that is it ends in jan 31 or i would be charged full rate. My son says ok i will call them or use the disk we got in the mail for aol 7.0. Thus, when end of jan is coming up he was online and was given a popup window free offer on his screen name and clicked on it, but did bill my credit card for 23.90. I then did not get my bill till to late and here it is a charge again for 23.90. So, i called aol again to dispute the charge and was told that they could not reverse my charges on my credit card. I would have to dispute the claim by fileing a credit card dispute form which in turn means more work for the cc company and more hassels with online deals. I have 4 four confirmation numbers of cancelation and am still being billed.
So, do you have any class action suits that would help me resolve all my issues?
