The members area has links to software that you can use for downloading, but all links are to other sites providing free download managers or free P2P applications, thus there is no need to join the members area. (You can find it all for free on the Internet.) The free desktop MP3 player is software not hardware like the image shown on the download page.

They are using the name "Shareaza".
Shareaza is a free P2P application. A Open Source software released for free. One more reason to why you shouldn't pay for it.
