I searched for a music download site for my son who got an mp3 player for x-mas. When I realized how many sites there were out there I asked Jeeves how to select a site. This brought me to the mp3 download review site. At the top of their review list is 24/7 and this is what they say:

Right now 24/7 Downloads is our overall winner, and the service all of us use. If something changes, or someone creates a new top service, we will let you know."
This is dated July 04. I went to 24/7 directly from the provided link. The homepage looks great and has tabs for music, movies etc. However, one you sign on (pay your fee) you go to a members only place where there is no link to get to any movie or music sites. Even though I created an account, I cannot enter the music site without being asked to ceate an account all over again.
The help section consists of one page with one line: "We are currently re-writing all of this info. Thank you for your patience."
It is entirely clear to me that this is a scam site. I am sorry for the many people who are following the same steps I took today and get ripped of.
